After living in Tennessee I learned that most pastors are grandiose narcissists who abuse Christianity to promote themselves and virtue signal so visibly that they can create a shield that covers up their indiscretions and double lives. In short, most of them are spiritually abusive frauds. The good ones are few and far between, but they stand out because they are humble and authentic.
